InterAmbition develops the interactive version of the Dutch RTL4 program ‘X Factor’

'X Factor' is a talents hunt at which men of all ages can participate. They are judged by the jury members Henkjan Smits, Henk Temming (all former musicians) and Marianne van Wijnkoop (casting director Joop van den Ende Musicals).

InterAmbition has developed the interactive part of X Factor. On www.xfactor.nl young and old can join at the online karaoke game by which the players imitate well known Dutch and international artists. The singing is immediately followed by a digital comparison of the recording with the original by special Voice Recognition and Voice Analysis software. The system can be used in 2 ways:

a) Directly by the (mobile) phone. After dialing 0909-0969, the application starts a dialogue with the person on the phone. One is led by question and answer through the program.

b) By the website where the visitor can select one of the many lyrics or can judge others. When the choice is made, one can call the number 0909 - 0969 and is then led through the rest of the application.

The system itself makes a selection of all sent in numbers and shows this selection on the site. This goes ad random so people are published arbitrarily on the site. At the end of the month the ones with the highest scores win a price…
